No more spreadsheets and leg work to figure out if your Drupal site is ready for the next version. With the Upgrade Status module you get a generated list of your modules, as well as the version of Drupal you're running, and their status. Just check periodically to see if all your modules are ready to go, as well as getting lists of updates you should do.

Of course, it's worth investigating if the latest version of Drupal works differently so that your required functionality may not be found in the same contributed modules, but may be in other contributed modules, or even be a part of the included modules.
