Scheduler is a great little module to schedule when content is published and unpublished.

You can use it for seasonal content, to promote a live event, an to make your content publishing more regular. I tend to not blog for too long, then write a million things at a sitting. So to make my site a regular source of information, something I suggested in my RSS post, I use Scheduler to space out my content. This also allows me to have stubs that I'll finish off later.

Once installed and configured you'll see it when you create new content under "Scheduling options," which for me shows under "Comment Settings."
